Why won't Russia repatriate its dead soldiers from Ukraine?

ANSWER: Well, the Russian commanders say that they don't need them, but I think the real reason is that it would be inconvenient for Putin to have 10,000 or more dead Russian soldiers returned to Russia from Ukraine since that would be 20 times more than the 498 that Russia has so far acknowledged. So, this means that there will be thousands, maybe tens of thousands, of Russian mothers who will never know what happened to their sons in Ukraine.
